How do I find additional datasets for my country?¶
Data on UN Biodiversity Lab include the best available global datasets related to nature and human well-being, ranging from biodiversity to ecosystem services, to socio-economic data. We also include regional datasets where recommended by UN Biodiversity Lab users. You can view datasets on UN Biodiversity Lab globally or within an area of interest.
Note
We refer to both datasets and data layers in this guide and on UNBL. Each dataset may have one or multiple data layers within it.

Navigate to your area of interest, if preferred. You can also stay on the global view.

Click on the 'DATASETS' tab icon.

To search for a dataset, you can either:
a) Type the name of the dataset you want to view into the search box and select the desired result in the dataset list (note: your search must include at least 3 characters).
OR
b) Click to expand the filters to view and select the dataset categories of your interest. You then can select the desired dataset from the search result list.
OR
c) Click to expand the dataset tags and select your tag of interest. You then can select the desired dataset from the list.

Click the toggle button to the right of the dataset name to load this dataset to the map.

Click the toggle button again or click the X icon in the dataset legend to remove this dataset.
